Banff DaVinci Quest
The Banff DaVinci Quest is a themed team building event based on “The Da Vinci Code ” and Leonardo Davinci’s Cryptex security box made famous in the novel and film.
Each team’s challenge is to navigate throughout Banff on foot with a map and passport to uncover clues. These clues lead to your cryptex and provide hints to decoding it’s security password. Upon deciphering the password and opening the cryptex you will find your final clue and then your treasure.
The Banff DaVinci Quest can be organized as a competitive event among different teams or a challenge for individual groups to complete at their leisure. It is a fun, interactive team building activity that is perfect for corporate retreats, families, or any small group.
The deluxified version (below) includes a technological GPS tool that ads to the challenge and increases the fun factor.

Banff DaVinci Quest: Deluxified!
The Banff DaVinci Quest: Deluxified is a themed team-building event based on “The Da Vinci Code ” and Leonardo DaVinci’s Cryptex made famous in the novel and film.
In the deluxified event each team is equipped with a GPS touring device (GyPSy Guide) inside vehicle. The GyPSy Guide is your quest riddler and sometimes navigator that plays audio and visual content as you drive. With a map and a passport included each team’s challenge is to find and uncover a series of clues. These clues lead to the cryptex and provide hints to decoding its security password.
Along the way you will encounter a renaissance characters to interact with and will also be required to complete a team challenge. Upon deciphering the password and opening the cryptex you will find your final clue and then your treasure.
The techological twist of the GyPSy guide and the ability to drive a vehicle are what makes this a great activity to rediscover Banff by car.

Banff Photo Challenge
Its time to make yourself famous! In this team event you will explore Banff and seek out some of its lesser known landmarks with clues and images from your photo passport. Your team will be required to find each of several locations and get a photo taken, with all members included. Time is of the essence as this activity has a deadline for completion! The winning team is decided by the highest score, with bonueses given on team photo shoot creativity, and penalties for those who turn in their camera late! We will create posters of each teams photo series to be shared at your evening function, include a set of prints, and a CD with each teams photos to commemorate your event. This is a great activity for any group dynamic and can be modified easily to accommodate small to large groups with tight or liberal timelines
Time minimum: 1.5 hours for 8 photo course

Team Challenge Options
Sling Shot Challenge
Assemble the pieces of a slingshot together then use your weapon to destroy a target. Once complete you will receive your clue. Dexterity and problem solving skills are tested during this challenge.
Winter Survival
A fun scenario based activity that promotes debate and consensus. Your group has crash landed in the wilderness of Banff National Park. You have salvaged several items and must now decide which are the most important!
Canoe Challenge
A short version of the Blue Canoe Treasure Hunt where navigation and physical coordination become critical.
Giant Map Puzzle
Put together a giant map that will reveal the location of your next clue. There are many ways to perform this activity that can focus on group participation, giving and taking direction not to mention looking at the “big picture”.
