The morning is a great time for bird watching, wildlife viewing, and exploring around Banff. On this tour you will sightsee to known wildlife and bird viewing areas and then enjoy the outdoors on short nature walks. Your guide will be equipped with props to help explain animal behaviour and a spotting scope to bring the views in closer. Follow your guide while you visit local areas, walk outdoors, feel the fresh air, and take photos of this majestic landscape. Each tour will be different as many locations are available to choose from depending on the season and wildlife activity.

A number of routes and locations are options for this tour, depending on wildlife activity; seasonal weather; and trail availability. You will visit at least two of the areas below:
Cave & Basin Boardwalk - Wetland habitat, birds of prey, animal underpasses
Mt. Norquay - Montane habitat, avalanche slope, great views for photos
Bankhead - Montane valley, historical buildings, reclamation, changing views of National Parks
Johnson Lake - Wetland, wildlife corridor and protected Fairholme Bench, animal underpass
Cascade Mountain - Wildlife corridor, controversy, human use in national parks
Mule Shoe - River ecology, wetland, vehicle and railway impact
