Lake Louise and Moraine Lake

Tour Description
On this sightseeing tour you will visit the “Jewel of the Canadian Rockies,” Lake Louise, & the world renowned Moraine Lake. Both are part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you will have time to take photos and explore their shorelines. Learn about our mountaineering history and how a tragic accident at Lake Louise shaped Canadian mountain culture. Finally, walk to a viewpoint in the Valley of Ten Peaks overlooking Moraine Lake.

Early and late season road closures will limit access to Moraine Lake.  The alternate stop on the tour is a scenic nature walk to the lower falls of Johnston Canyon.  Here you will see the falls up close and walk through a short tunnel to get a unique view.
Tour Highlights:

Bow Valley Parkway – Wildlife watching and the role of fire in the park
Castle Mountain – Learn how this local landmark got its name
Lake Louise – Take a stroll on the shore of the lake & visit the famous Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise
